Leopard, Panthera pardus

Welcome!

This is the research page and photographic portfolio of Jim Galloway.

I'm currently studying for a PhD, funded by the BBSRC, looking at the role of animal vision and colour change for camouflage.

My research interests lie in sensory ecology, especially the ways animals exploit visual systems to avoid predation - specifically through camouflage, and how they use their own vision to help this.

This website is a place to display my photos, as well as to keep people up to date both my personal research, and the behind-the-scenes of my photography
